The first sections of the dome in the centre of the main transept of the Exhibition building have been put in position, and were secured without any difficulty yesterday evening. If the weather keeps up the roofing of that important part of the atructure will be completed in the early part of the ensuing week, A communication has been received from the Board of Management of the Tea Planters’ Association at Kandy (Ceylon), with a view to secure sufficient space for a tea kiosk, whore the choicest article produced in Ceylon will be exhibited, A tea room will be provided, and it is intended that Cingalese attendants shall dispense the article, as was done at the Melbourne Centennial, where it proved a most attractive feature.
