MEETING OF CREDITORS.
A meeting in the estate of Susan Bring, of Dunedin, dealer, was held this afternoon.
The statement was as follows ties to unsecured creditors, L 95 17s Id ; assets, nil. The creditors are-—National Bank, L 57 10a; R. Brew, L 8 sa; Mieses Dow, 10a Gd; R. Macquaid, L 4 16s 3d ; Butter worth Bros., L 3 4s 91; Evening Star, L7Bs 8d ;J. Macfie, LI Ca; Dr Ferguson, L2 3a; Dr Colquhoun, L 5; E. F. Lawrence, L2 12s 8d ; Simon Bros., L2 8s 3d; City Corporation, 12s.
Debtor stated that she came from Melbourne about eighteen months since with money of her own, with which she set up in business. A few weeks siv.ee, in consequence of a disagreement with her husband, she left the shop. Mr J. Campbell then came in and se zed some of the goods for rent, and Mr Dring had sold the remainder of the stock.
It was resolved to adjourn until Monday next, the Assignee in the meantime to examine Mr Campbell, and also to see Mr Park as to tho sale of the goods.
