We understand that Mr William Davidson has resigned the management of the Otago branch of the New York Life Insurance Company, ar.d that Mr 0. Thrilman has been appointed in bib stead.
Malls close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to ar v noeesaary alterations as under : local trails between Dunedin and Oamaru, also those for the Naseby line, will close at 7.l- r ) a.m., And be forwarded by the 7,45 a.m. train. For Northern Ports, overland daily, at 10.30 ».m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard's »an. North express train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will be cleared at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 9. Mails for the United Kingdom per s.s. Kaikoura will close at tris office at 10 a.m., and at Wellington on Thursday, 11th. Correspondence must be specially addressed. Parcels for this despatch will be received up to Monday, Bth, at 9.30 am. Wednesday, July 10. For Northern Ports. Per Waihora, at 1.50 pm. late letters, guard'B van, Port Chalmers train, at 2.3) p.m. Thuhsday, July 11. For Southland, Australian Colonies via Hobart, India, China, Japan, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom, etc.—Per Te Anau, at 1 50 p.m. Money orders (for Australian Colonies only), registered letters, and newspapers at 12.50 p.m, .
