Dean, who has occupied the position of town clerk from the incorporation of the borough, was arrested on four charges of embezzling moneys, amounting in the aggregate to L3J>, belonging to the Borough Council He has been remanded until the 15th inst., and admitted to bail—himself in L2OO and two sureties of LIOO each.
