ROSLYN GUN CLUB.
A meeting of the newly-formed Gun Club at Roslyn was held at Conway's Hotel last evening, when about twenty-five members were present. A code of rules in connection with the formation and future shooting meetings of the club was submitted and unanimously approved. The chief clauses in the regulations were: meeting shall be held in July of each year. Candidates for admission to the club shall bo elected by ballot by the Committee; names and addresses to be furnished seven days prior to their election. The Committeo may arrange a series of matches every quarter, including handicap competitions. A collector of pigeouß will bo appointed by tho Committee." Somo thirtyone shooting rules were passed, which provido for tho members of the club to be arranged into first and second-class competitors ; while tho shooting boundaries of the club were left to be arranged at a future meeting. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—Secretary, Mr James Elliott; committee Messrs Cooper, John Elliott, Russell, Lindsay, and Grant.
