The creditors of Norman Wood, bricklayer, have resommended him for discharge. The following is an extract from a recent issue of Dr Barnardo's publication, ' Night and Day':— " On Thursday, 28th March, our first party for the current year, consisting of 226 trained boys and lads, sailed from Liverpool in tho Allan liner Peruvian for Montreal, oh the way to Canada as their future home. On the Bth of April we heard of the their safe arrival. This is the largest party that lias been sent out to Canada at one time. These boys have all been trained and tested in tho ' Homes.' We hope to semi at least 400 others in the course of this year."
