The ordinary meeting of tho Kaikorai School Committee was held on Tuesday evening. Present—Mossrs Duncan (chairman), Archer, Carlton, Eraser, Moir, Stout, and WilkinsoD. The head-master's report waß read, which showed the avorage attendance for the month to have been: Boys, 288 ; girls, 242 ; total, 530 ; and the numbfr on tho roll: Boys, 323; girls, 255 ; total, 608, The head-master also sent a copy of Inspector G yyen's report of his recent visit to tho school, which showed that tho school was in an extremely satisfactory state. Messrs Wilkinson and Stout were appointed the Visiting Committee, and a quantity of routine business was transacted.
