Sib,—We have given Riohard Poole every opportunity of knowing the wages paid on Exhibition oontraots, as far as we are concerned, and he must think himself very highly favored when we did »o, but he was not manly enough to take advantage of .the offer. We likewise think the contractors for main building very wise in taking no notice of Mr Poole. Neither for the future do we intend to do so.—l am, etc., M'Leod and Shaw, contractors. Dunedin, July 2.
