logued at present wool sales, of which 142,600 have been disposed of. Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co. have received the following cablegram from their London house (Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and Co.), dated the 28th nit.:-" Market continues very firm." The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated 28th June:—" Since the opening of tho sales superior greasy merino and fine greasy crossbred have advanced Jd per lb ; sconred has advanced -?jd to Id per lb; other descriptions are unchanged. Competition by both Home and foreign buyers is aotive. Up to date 120,000 bales have been «old." ___________
