The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London office, dated 28th June:—" Since the opening of tho sales superior greasy merino and fine greasy crossbred have advanced Jd per lb ; sconred has advanced -?jd to Id per lb; other descriptions are unchanged. Competition by both Home and foreign buyers is aotive. Up to date 120,000 bales have been «old." ___________
