Malls close at the Chief Post Office, Dunedin, subject to ary necessary alterations as under;—
Local mails between Dunedin and Oamaru, also those for the Naseby line, will close at 7.15 a.m., and be forwarded by the 7.43 a.m. train.
For Northern Ports, overland daily, at 10.30 a.m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard’s van, North express train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will be cleared at 10 a.m.
Wednesday, Junk 26. For Northern Forts.—Per Manapouri, at 1.20 p.m. Late letters, Chief Post Office, at 1.30 p.m.
FeidaV, Junk 28. For Southland, Australian Colonies via Hobart, India, China, Japan, Comment of Europe, United Kingdom, etc.—Per Wairarapa, at 1 50 p.ra. Money orders (for Australian Colonies only), registered letters, and newspapers at 12.’>0 p.m. rale letters, guard’s van, Port Chalmers train, at 2.30 p.m. For Akaroa, per Grafton, at 4 30 p m.

The contract steamer Tainui will leave Wellington for Plymouth via Rio do Janeiro on Thursday, Juno 27. Mails close hero as under; —
For United Kingdom and Foreign Countries via the United Kingdom, etc., at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 26th. Bonk packets and newspapers at 9 a m. on Wednesday, 26th. The above mail will close at the branch post office, Dunedin North, for letters at 9.80 a.m. and newspapers at 5.30 a.m. on the 20th. At the South Dunedin office, for letters and newspapers at 5 a.m. on the 26th. At the Port Chalmers office, at 8 a.m. on the 26th. Late letters, bearing an additional single rate of postage (6d) as a late fee can be posted in the guard’s van attached to the North express leaving Dunedin railway station at 11 a.m. on the 26th.
