The contract steamer Tainui will leave Wellington for Plymouth via Rio do Janeiro on Thursday, Juno 27. Mails close hero as under; —

The above mail will close at the branch post office, Dunedin North, for letters at 9.80 a.m. and newspapers at 5.30 a.m. on the 20th. At the South Dunedin office, for letters and newspapers at 5 a.m. on the 26th. At the Port Chalmers office, at 8 a.m. on the 26th. Late letters, bearing an additional single rate of postage (6d) as a late fee can be posted in the guard’s van attached to the North express leaving Dunedin railway station at 11 a.m. on the 26th.
