News from Samoa Vy the Mariposa states that the Nipsic is at Honolulu, and will sail for 'Frisco for repairs, as it is deemed that the risk of a voyage to Auckland is too great. Everything is quiet at Apia. Mataafagave a dinner on the Bth inst., to which he invited Admiral Kimberley, the consuls, and principal foreign residents. The invitations were generally accepted, but the German portion of the community did not attend. An American sailor was accidentally killed on the 10th. A German saloonkeeper was handling a revolver carelessly, when it exploded and shot the sailor through the heart. • • ••< '
