For Northern Torts, overland daily, at 10 SO a.m., at Chief Post Office. Late letters, guard's van. North expross train, at 11 a.m. The Post Office, Dunedin North, will be cleared at 10 a.m. DIRECT MAIL SERVICE. Wednesday, June 26. The contract steamer Tainui will leave Wellington for Plymouth via Rio do Janeiro on Thursday, June 27. Mails close here as under : For United Kingdom and Foreign Countries via the United Kingdom, etc., at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, 26th. Registered correspondence at 5 p in., money orders at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, tho 25th; hook packets and newspapers at S) a.m. on Wednesday, 26th. Tho above mail will close at the branch post office, Dunedin North, for_ money orders at -1 p.m., registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 25th; letters at 9.30 a.m. and newspapers at 5.30 a.m. on tho 26th. At tho South Dunedin office, for morey orders at 4 p.m., and registered letters at 5 pm. on tho 25th; and for letters and newspapers at 5 a.m. on the 2(ith. At the Port Chalmers office, at 8 a.m. on the 2Gth ; money orders at 4 p.m., and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 25th. Lite letters, bearing an additional Bingle rate of postage (b'd) as a iato fee can bo posted in tho" guard's van attached to the North express leaving Dunedin railway station at 11 a.m. on the 25 th.
