THE LONDON WOOL SALES.
Mesßrß Dalgety and Co. have received the following cablegram from their head office, London, dated 18th June : —"Wool sales opened, large number of buyers; competition animated; moderate selections. For the bnlk of wools, as compared with closing rates of last season, prices show a rise of par to sd, particularly for good merinoes." Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co. have received the following cablegram from their London house (Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and Co.), dated the 18th inst. :■—" Sales have opened with rates unchanged. There is a large attendance of buyers, and competition is brisk. For coarse cross-bred, market is a shade above closing rates last London sales."
Messrs Murray, Roberts, and Co. have received the following cablegram from their London house (Messrs Sanderson, Murray, and Co.), dated the 19th inßt:—" Market continues strong."
