The tenders for tho refreshment bars, etc., wero opened and considered this morning, but as it seemed evident from the few tenders sent in aud the small amounts offered that tenderers are not curtain what they are tendering for, it was decided to decline all the tenders received, return deposits, and delay calling for fresh tender} until tho license question is settled and the erection of the building completed. Word has been received from Greymouth that the local committee, appointed as an outcome of Mr Hastings's visit, aro working hard to ensure a complete representation of the products, etc., of the district.
