THE PERPETUAL TRUSTEES COMPANY.
TO thk editor. Sin,—l observe that the chairman of the above company is reported to have stated at the late meeting that the clients of the company had lost little or nothing. I wish to ask if he meant during last year only, or during tho wholo time the company has been in existence ?
If he meant the latter, his statement was not in accordance with fact. I am in a position to point to one investment that has not paid a penny of interest for seven or eight years, and that is not worth one-half of the money that was lent on it.— I am, etc., Ex-Client. Dunedin, June 13.
