Warbrick’s team, playing against Daylesford, won by two goals and four behinds to one goal and five behinds ; and defeated at Melbourne a team put forward by the local Rugby Union by two goals and three tries to nil.
Mr J. R. Murray, ex-captain of the Dunedin Football Club, is the hon. treasurer of the recently formed Victorian Rugby Union. A team is to be taken across to Sydney on July 13, the New South Wales players having generously agreed to pay all expenses in connection with the trip.
