EXHIBITION REGATTA.

A meeting of those interested in the promotion of the Exhibition regatta was held in the Chamber of Commerce room last evening. Mr J, B. Thomson presided, and about thirty gentlemen were present. The rules and regulations as amended were adopted, with the exception that rules as to time allowance and classification of yachts should stand over till the arrangement of programme. The following were constituted a General Committee to carry out tho arrangements in connection with the regatta :—Messrs James Allen, M.H.R., J. B. Thomson, Captain Anderson, J, L. M'Cready, Captain Smith JD.N.A.), Captain White (P.N.A.), Captain Thomson (P.C.N.A.), Lieutenant Lockler, R. Hay, A, G. Fenwick, W. Mills, W. H. Brent, F. W. Platts, F. Mitchell, D. Reid, F. Hyams.
