A pound of stream tin from Hall's claim, Pegasus, was forwarded to the Tasmanian Government analyst, and a reply has been received that it yielded 57 per cent, of metallic tin. At the Land Board this afternoon Dr Hanan and party were granted water rights, permission to construct a tramway, and erect a wharf at Kopake, Stewart Island, where the silver lode was recently discovered. A large number of applications f r water rights at Pegasus wore held over for a month.
