A WARNING TO SOLICITORS. SYDNEY, June 1
Mr Levien, M.L.A., a solicitor, has been suspended from practice for twelve months for contravening the Attorneys Act in allowing his managing clerk to receive a percentage of the profits of his business. In consequence of the disqualification he has resigned his seat for 'Jamworth.
A TOWNSHIP WASHED AWAY. SYDNEY, June 1
Nearly all the buildings in the township of St. Albans were washed away by the floods. One life was lost.
CONTEMPT OF COURT. MELBOURNE, June 1. Mr Daly, solicitor, has been committed to gaol for a week for contempt of Court.
