MASONIC.

The monthly meeting of Lodge St. Patrick, No. 468,1.C., was held at Rattray street Hall on Wednesday evening. W.M. Bro. T. H. Shadwell presided, and there was a goodly attendance of members and a large number of visiting brethren present, including the R. W.M. and officers of Lodges Otago Kilwinning, 417, St. Andrew, 432, and St. John Kilwinning, 662. The principal business of the evening was the election of officers for the ensuing period, which resulted as follows:—Bro. D. Wishart, W.M. ; Bro. P. Stuart, S.W. ; Bro. D. G. Shepherd, J.W. ; Bro. C. E. Thompson, P.M., treasurer; Bro. Rev. W. Ronaldson, P.M., secretary; Bro. C. Wadie, S D.; Bro. W. J. R. Lowcay, J.D. ; Bro. Meyer, tyler. A notice of motion by P.M. Bro. Barrett —" That this lodge support the application received from Bro. Walker for the formation of lodge under the LC. in the Northeast Valley "—caused considerable disoussion both for and against the motion, and terminated in P.M. Bro. M'Nicoll moving " That the question now before the lodge stand adjourned until after the June meeting," which was seconded by Bro. Stuart, J.W., and carried. The brethren then adjourned to the refreshment room, where a social half-hour was spent.
