A new steel paddle steamer, named the Cobra, was launched from the Fairfield Yard, Glasgow, on March 1. The Cobra belongs to Messrs Burne, and will travel at the rate of twenty-two miles per hoar. Dilapidated lawyer: "How much will you advance on this law book?" Pawnbroker : " I von't advance noddings on a single pook.
