The Beautiful Star left the Rattray street wharf at 10 p.m. yesterday with passengers and ca<-go for Oamaru. The Centennial discharged and took in cargo at the tongue wharf to-day. She is to sail at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Sydney via the East Gat.

ARRIVAL OF THE LOCH AWE.

Early this morning the ship Loch Awe, from London, was reported from Taiaroa Heads, in response to which the tug Plucky proceeded outside to tender her, and brought her across the bar at 9 a.m. under the charge of Pilot Paton, her draught being 19, t aft, towing her up as far as the Quarantine Ground, where the anchored at 9 45, having on board 400 barrels of gnnpowder.
