TO THE EDITOR.
Sir, —Allow me through your columns to suggest to Mr Towsey the advisability of having a roll call at Thursday night’s practice, especially among the ladies. I notice those who require the most practice are the very ones who fail to attend, and then have to depend on their neighbors. If there is one thing I cordially detest it is to have people beside me who, if they do try to sing, go wrong or out of tune.—l am, etc , A Member, Dunedin, May 21.
