At the New South Wales cycling sports the Two-mile First-class Bicycle. Race was won by Busst, of Melbourne, Tenelon, of England, being second,, and Mutton, of Sydney, third. It was an excellent race, and Busst covered the distance in 6min 48 3-ssec.
Laycock, the Australian sculler, who is in Sydney, absolutely denies the truth of the cablegram that he has issued a challenge to row the scullers of the world, bar Searle and O'Connor.
