The overseers of the poor in Boston have in their hands trust and other funds to the amount of L 130.000. There has long been a popular belief that the greatest number of deaths occur between four and six o'clock in the morning. Dr. Charles F6r<3 has taken the trouble to tabulate the death-hours of all patients dying in two Parisian hospitals during the last ton years. He found that there were rather fewer deaths between seven and eleven o'clock in the evening than at any other time, but there was no special preponderance at any hour,
