The following additional shares have been applied for;—H. North and A. H. Jack, LlO each ; Rev. J. Ryley, Alfred Boot, A. Melville, W. S. Fitzgerald, Dr de Zouche, Dr Teevan, R. Crawford, Dr Lamb, Dr Ogston, Dr Macdonald, Sydney James, Professor Gibbons, Professor Scott, and W. Hutchison, L 5 each.. The following additional guarantees have been received : Robert Wilson, LIOO ; A. Hill Jack, LlO. The Wanganui local Committee has decided to act independently of Wellington. The secretary, in a letter to the Executive, states that there is every promise of good support. The Victorian Railway Commissioners intend to convey free over their lines exhibits for our Exhibition. The Gardens Committee are now prepared to accept donations of plants. Mr Lawrence, the gardener, is daily at the fern house in the Wood ware Company’s premises, and will receive any plants which may be delivered.
