The secretary of the Nqpier Committee thinks there is every likelihood of a large number of exhibits being sent from there, “ Manufactures,” he says in a letter, “ will be scarce, but those of timbei, grain, and fine art promise to be exceptionally large, with a fair muster of different collections.” Encouraging reports have also been received from Wanganui, while local applications for space are coming in freely.
