TO THE EDITOR. Sir., —Those who have been fortunate enough to procure one of the gas stoves for heating rooms lately imported will all agree that they have obtained a rare luxury. For the office, bedroom, nursery, and indeed for any room, these stoves are invaluable, and I am sure they would be very generally used if only the price of gas was lower than it is at present. I hope the City Council will take this matter into consideration,—l am, etc., Paterfamilias.
