The direct steamer Rimutaka will leave Wei' lingfcon for London via Rio de Janeiro on Thursday, May 16. Mails for the United Kingdom, etc.. close at this office on Tuesday, May 14, at 10 a.m. Late letters, guard's van, North train, at 11 a.m. Correspondence intended to be despatched by the Rimutaka must be specially addressed. Parcels tor the United Kingdom, per Rimutaka, will close at this office on Monday, 18th, at 5 p.m.

SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE. Friday, May 17. For Northern Ports of New Zealand, the United Kingdom via San Francisco, Continent of Europe, Samoa, Sandwich Islands, United States of America, Canada, South America, and West Indies, etc, at 10 a.m.

The above mail will olose at the branch post offioe, Dnnedin North, for money orders at 4 p.m., legistered letters at 5 p.m. on the 16th; letters at 9.50 a.m., and newspapers at 5 am. on tho 17th. At the South Dunedin office, for money orders at 4 p.m., and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 16th, and for letters and newspnperß at 5 a.m. on the 17tb. At the Port Chalmers office, at 8 a.m. on the 17th. money orders at 4 p.m., and registered letters at 5 p.m. on the 16th. The above mail will be due in London on 24th June.
