Last night several hundred people were engaged in skating. The English footballers were present at the Palace Rink, where Mr Gibson indulged in some fancy skating. At the Columbia Rink Professor Simmons gave a very interesting performance entitled the " Hub Dude," in which he faithfully depicted the undoubted trials of a masher learning to skate. His impersonation was most amusing, and he kept his audience in a state of continued merriment during the ten minutes he was on the floor. At another period of the evening Professor gave an exhibition of fancy and trick skating.
