HIGH SCHOOL BOARD OF GOVERNORS.
The Board met to-day; present—the Rer. Dr Stuart, Professors Macgregor and Shand, and Mr K. Ramsay. Messrs J. Roberts, Thomson, and R. Thomson waited on the Board as a deputation from the Taleri County Council and asked for a grant in aid of road-making in the Strath Taieri block.—lt was resolved to grant LSO towards the cost of the main road, and to pay three-quarters of the cost of forming the district roads, providod that the cost does not exceed LI 50.
Accounts amounting to L°26 ISi 8d were passed for payment.
