Sir,---Referriag to the discussion at the !ast meeting of City Council, allow ms to correct the statoraent imputed to me that the Bsnk overdraft at close of year 18S1-2 would probably be 1/21,000. Wl-a: I should, huvo said, and did mean to say, was that she overdraft at that period, after U vying of 3d rate, would be about Lll,ooo—«pc3iiion wo:s3 by L 21,000 thaa that at the beginning of the year 1880 1. — I am, etc.,
