At au executire meeting last night a proposition was moTed recommending the Council to reduce the prize-money one-third in consequence of the paucity of representative, and the Toting being equal Major Baillie give his easting vote with the ayes. As a matter of fact there it no quorum of the Counoil here. The next step was a notification by the secretary that the reduction had been made.
