A BUSY YEAR
WOMEN'S SERVICE GUILD A wide field of activities has been covered by the Women's Service Guild during the year, and the annual report, presented at the recent annual meeting, provoked keen interest and discussion. Mrs. T. B. Strong led the gathering in prayer prior to the business meeting. Mrs. J. Henderson presided. ! On behalf of members, Mrs. D. C. Bates made a presentation to Mrs. Henderson, with eulogistic reference to her work. Hearty thanks were expressed to the retiring officers, Mesdames E. A. Israel, V. B. Cade, P. Lowe, and Miss M. Huggins, for their work, presentations of flowers being made. A special vote of thanks, accompanied by a sheaf of flowers, was accorded to Mrs. Jl Doig for valuable assistance. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows:—President, Mrs. J. Henderson; vice-presidents, Mesdames J. C. Andersen, D. C. Bates, A. Down, R. E. Herron, J. Marten, T. B. Strong, and Miss Willis; honorary treasurer, Mrs. A. E. Israel; honorary secretary, Miss M. Huggins; publicity, Mrs. V. B. Cade; attendance, Mrs. P. Lowe. At the conclusion of the meeting members were the guests of Mrs. Henderson and Miss Nelson at afternoon tea.
