PRESIDENT WINS AGAIN

WASHINGTON, June 7

The approval by the House of Representatives of the Bretton Woods Monetary Agreements gives President Truman another major victory in the field of foreign policy. The Secretary oi the Treasury, Mr. Henry Morgenthau, jun., later issued a statement that the action of the House will engender a feeling of great confidence in the world "at a time when it is important that we concentrate our efforts upon the achievement of world security and peace. It presages an era of world co-operation which will lead to prosperity for all."
