TRIBUTE TO N.2_ DELEGATES
The Wellington Labourers' Union places oh record its pride and gratification that the Prime Minister of New Zealand should be selected from the delegates of all nations for the position of chairman of one of the most important committees at the San Francisco Conference, the Trusteeship Committee. It expresses admiration for the manner in which Mr. Fraser and the NeW Zealand delegation have dealt with matters coming before the conference, notes with gratification the confidence placed in them by the representatives of other nations, and congratulates Mr. Fraser and the New Zealand delegation on so steadfastly placing before the conference the expressed views of the people of New Zealand respecting the rights and privileges of small nations, and upholding the principles upon which New Zealand entered the war in conjunction with Great Britain. It thanks them for the manner in -which they have sustained the prestige of New Zealand and raised it in the eyes of the Assembly of Nations..
