INDUCTION OF MINISTER
The induction of the Rev. J. D. Grocott to the superintendency of the Wellington West Methodist Circuit took Place at the Karori church recently The Rev. W. A. Burley, chairman of the Wellington district, conducted the service, and the Revs. C. E. Dickens and A. K. Petch gave addresses.
After the service, a social was held in the schoolroom to welcome Mr. and Mrs Grocott. Mr. S. N. Roberts, circuit'steward, presided, and speeches.of welcome were given by representatives of each of the churches in the nirruit by a member of the local nreachers' association, by the Rev. J. Pnmming (on behalf of the other Ka?ori churches). -and by the Rev. W. A Burlev (on behalf of the Wellington district). Mr. and Mrs. Grocott have also been welcomed at the other churches in the circuit.
