WEBB ST. METHODIST CHURCH

The quarterly meeting of Webb Street Methodist Church was held this week. The Rev. M. Ayrton presided.

The reports of income and expenditure were considered satisfactory. All payments had been made, leaving a credit balance. The Sunday school, in capable hands, indicated some progress. Miss E. Rapley, of Karori, and her pupils will be giving a concert recital in Webb Street Sunday School on Friday evening, May 18, and plans were made to give publicity to this event on behalf of missionary enterprise. Plans were approved for the winter session of the Ladies' Guild, the celebration of Mother's Day, and Bible Sunday. Hearty thanks were accorded to Mrs. Wolfgang for loyalty and devotion to the work of the church and for the lucid report she presented on the recent conference.
