KONIGSBERG LINKS
CUT BY SOVIET ARMY
Rec. 12.30 p.m. LONDON, March 20 The capture of Braunsberg, announced in Stalin's first Order of the Day, means that the road and railways from Konigsberg to Danzig have been cut.
Reuter points out that Stalin's first Order of the Day was addressed to Marshal Vassilevsky, who since 1942 has been Chief of the Red Army Staff In collaboration with Marshal Zhukov he played an important part in the Stalingrad, Voronezh, and Leningrad operations.
