OBITUARY

MR. J. G. MOORE

The death occurred on Sunday of, Mr. James Gorman Moore, assistant supervisor of the telegraph counter of the Wellington Post Office. Mr. Moore, who. was the son of the late Mr. Charles Steel Moore, of Palmerston North, was educated at Palmerston North. He joined the Post and Telegraph Department as a telegraph boy and worked his way up to the position he held at the time of his death. Mr. Moore served four years overseas as a signaller in the last war. He was a member of the Hataitai Bowling Club. N the Choral Society, and the Tin Hat Club. Mr. Moore, who was 51 at the time of his death, leaves a wife, a daughter, Miss J. Moore, and a sister, Mrs. M. G. Elley, all of Wellington.
