LIGHT CRUISER BLOWN UP
NEW YORK, November 22
Liberators, making: their third strike within four days against Brunei naval base, in north-west Borneo, blew up a Japanese light cruiser and badly damaged another large warship, probably a light cruiser, reports General MaeArthur's headquarters in the Philippines.'
Other planes, patrolling Mindanao and Visayan, probably sank a 3000-ton merchantman, destroyed five planes, and cratered' various runways.
