Tho freehold of the block of land on the corner of Wakefleld Street and lower Taranaki Street, Wellington, with the two-storey brick building on it, has been acquired by Manthel Motors, Ltd., which up to tho present has used leasehold premises nearby. This allotment has a frontage to Wakefleld Street of ISO feet and one of 100 feet to lower Taranaki Street. Lately it has been used to store Army equipment and stores. It is tho intention of Manthel Motors, Ltd., to move into its dwn i>remlsca;as soon as they are vacated by the Army. The purchase price ran into five figures. Mr. E.
