SPRINT TO FIRST IN P.A. CHRISTCHURCK. Sept. 23 The Geraldine Racing Club's Annual Meeting was held at Orari in fine weather, and the attendance was good. With two of the events being run in divisions, the programme was concluded an hour late. The totalisator handled £27,445 10s, as against £28,028 last year. Winner of the Ashburton Handicap i a week earlier, Findon registered his third success during his stay in the south when he added the Gevaldine Cup very comfortably from Arustra. In the Squatters' Handicap First In registered her first success since December, when she took the sprint honours quite definitely.
