STATE FIRE OFFICE
As a result of the promotion of Mr. R. H. Newbold to the position of general manager of the State Fire and Accident Insurance Office in succession to Mr. J. H. Jerram, Mr. T. I<. Seator has been appointed deputy general manager. Mr. Seator was formerly secretary to the office. Mr. Seator retains his position as secretary of the War Damage Commission.
Mr. D. Morrison, formerly branch manager at .Wellington, has been appointed secretary in place of Mr. Seator. . i
Mr. Seator commenced his Public Service career in the Valuation Department in Invercargill in 1907. In 1909 Jie was transferred to the State Fire Office. After service overseas in the last war, Mr. Seator was appointed successively to the Dunedin, Invercargill, and Palmerseton North branches. From Palmerston North, where he was branch manager,; he came to Wellington as secretary to the Department.
