ASSOCIATED BOOKSELLERS
The Associated Booksellers of New Zealand held its annual conference in Wellington yesterday, when delegates from all over the Dominion were present. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr. H.E. Pither (Masterton), reelected) ; immediate past president, Mr. B. E. H. Whitcombe (Christehurch); vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Walker (Auckland), A. J. Coveny (Christchurch), G. H. Whitcombe (Dunedin), H. W. Osborn (Wellington), D. B. Paul (Hamilton), H. Duckworth (Blenheim); councillors, Messrs. C. Brook (Hastings), E. G. Bennett (Palmerston North); E. V. Chaffey (Christchurch), J. Gardner (Stratford), T. Sullivan (Napier), H. C. South, C. A. Innes, A. Ackroyd, B. C.,H. Whitcombe; X J. Woolley (Wellington); honorary auditor, Mr. -H. W. Osborn (Wellington); secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. Ross (Wellington). Votes of thanks were accorded to the president, councillors, honorary auditor, and secretary. Appreciation of the work by Mr. M. Cameron, the association's representative in London, was expressed.1
