WAGE STRIKE SPREADS
Rec. 9 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 26. The strike in the Lancashire coa> field as a result of dissatisfaction with the new wage award, spread yesterday and more than 4000 men are now out at six pits. However, there;. are strong hopes that the strike,will b« called off today.
