Additional details 'have now been received concerning the execution of ten Norwegians in Trondheim on May 19. The execution took place in Kristiansten fortress. A man who witnessed the execution, unknown to the Germans, reports that the Norwegians were courageous and defiant despite the fact that several had been illtreated. He revealed, too, that one of the men executed was 28-year-old Einar Trogstad,- son of a well-known Labour Party leader. Just before the execution one of the men, Henry Thingstad, addressed the German soldiers; another, Peder Morse"th, offered a brief sermon; then all sang "A Mighty Fortress is. Our God," as the German guns were pointed at them. The observer added that several of the Germans wept.
