GOEBBELS SEES THE LIGHT

Rec. 11 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 17. Goebbels today made his frankest admission that Germany might lose the war. He said: "Even if Britain wins the *var in the military sphere, she will lose it in the political sphere. Britain has not man-power, ships, or money. She is dependent on the mercy of her allies. She has sold herself for better or for worse. The war is bringing about a slow disintegration of the British Empire."
