ESCAPE FROM BORSTAL

Three months' imprisonment was the sentence imposed by Mr. J.. L. Stout, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday upon Annie Grace, 22, domestic, and Noeline Vera Wadsworth, 19, waitress, both of whom pleaded guilty to escaping from the Point Halswell Borstal institution last week. SeniorSergeant G. J. Paine said that after spending the night in the bush, they obtained money from friends and went to Carterton, where they were arrested. Both had previously escaped from Borstal.
