URGENT CALL TO KNITTERS
With the approach of winter balaclavas, scarves, and mittens for soldiers in New Zealand camps are urgently needed.
A plentiful supply of khaki wool is available and-can be obtained at the Women's Metropolitan Patriotic Committee's rooms, Star Boating Club building, Jervois Quay, daily (except Saturdays) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Telephone 52-313. Supplies of wool are also obtainable from the Patriotic Rooms at Lower Hutt, Petone, and Eastbourne ("communicate with the local Town Clerks). All who can knit and who are not members of the knitting groups already doing this work are requested to help in the provision of these muchneeded garments. They are also asked to bring this to the notice of other knitters.
